When Curt Blixt had won the poster competition for the 700th anniversary of Stockholm's founding, he got also the mission to create a historical map of the city. The result is fantastic and what every Stockholmer should have in his home.

Curt Blixt went the long way with evening courses at Konstfack and work as an engraver in the days. After Konstfack he was hired as an illustrator at Esselte. Curt was a god-blessed illustrator who delivered everything from book covers to Evert Taube to selling packaging without apparent effort. He was recognized for his skill in winning the poster competition for the celebration of Stockholm's 700th anniversary. He received SEK 3,000 for the inconvenience.
