This poster was made in 1947, when the city of Vaxholm celebrated 300 years.
The anniversary was celebrated in a way that was pretty normal for that time: with an exhibition that stretched across the city. The exhibition ran between July 25 and August 17 1947, and the focus was on industry, handicrafts and art. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Crown Prince. There was a lot of investment in the exhibition on all levels, but the most important thing: a great poster was made, that would live on long after the exhibit. And now it can brighten up your home!
This postcard is part of a series of poster cards from COME TO SWEDEN.
A high-quality postcard.
